1993: LIVE IN BELGIUM

So much happened at Heart n Soul in 1993 that we thought we would share a bit more about it...

This is a short film that documents Heart n Soul travelling from Deptford to Namur in Belgium. It was made by Ollie Huddleston who has gone on to be an award winning film editor (he has also been a guest at Heart n Soul’s Chat Up event).

It’s a really fun insight into what being on the road with Heart n Soul abroad in 1993 was like. All of the original company are represented as well as the touring team - Alix Parker, Tam Gilbert, Ted Barrow, Trish Winfield, Colin Gerald and The Heart n Soul band. By this time we were touring with sound and lighting technicians and even our driver Colin guested on soprano sax for the encore!

I think looking back we now realise that this was pretty ground-breaking stuff and that the spirit of Heart n Soul still remains the same.
